St. Teresa’s is a very special place to me. I feel very blessed and lucky to come here every day and work.

  TEACHER - 2 1/2 YEAR CLASSROOM [3 DAYS]

I’ve been working at St. Teresa’s since 2016 and have been married for over 20 years. I'm a mother to five children, four girls and one boy, all who attended preschool and kindergarten at St. Teresa’s.

As a longtime Summit resident, I believe the school is a huge asset to the community, to learn and make new friendships. “I am still friends with parents that my oldest daughter, who is now 19, made when she was three!”

It’s wonderful being “back” at St. Teresa’s preschool in Kate Keenan’s class as an aide. The last time I was here, I was the parent picking up my youngest daughter who graduated from the school with a constant smile. This time, I’m on the other side of the desk wearing the apron, and now I have my St. Teresa’s smile on every day. I consider it a privilege to spend time with your children each week encouraging them to discover their unique gifts.

My husband, our two daughters (Chloe and Neko), and I have lived in New Jersey for 12 years and in Summit for 5 years. My degree and formal background are in visual arts and corporate graphic design, but having been a stay-at-home mother for 12 years, I have a natural love of children. I can honestly say, “I love these kids.”

When I’m not at school, I enjoy staying active, playing tennis, walking my dog, Millie, and watching my daughters swim for the Summit Y.
