At St. Teresa of Avila Preschool, our 2.5-year-old program is a gentle and happy first experience with school. We focus on helping young children feel safe, comfortable, and excited to come to school each day.

In our classrooms, children learn how to play with others, share, and take turns through everyday activities and lots of play. Our teachers are caring and patient, and they help guide the children as they learn and grow at their own pace.

Each day includes circle time with songs, stories, and movement that help build early language skills. We also make regular visits to the library, where children begin to enjoy books and listening to stories.

Throughout the day, children take part in hands-on activities like art, building, and play-based learning that help develop fine motor skills and encourage curiosity.

We start the day with a simple prayer and end with a quiet moment together, helping children feel calm and settled. Our 2.5 program is a wonderful first step into school, and we are happy to share in these early years of learning and growth.
