Welcome to St. Teresa Preschool and Kindergarten
Where Little Learners Grow in Faith, Love, and Confidence
We’re so happy you’re here and can’t wait to show you our warm, welcoming preschool community.
At St. Teresa, preschool is all about learning through play, exploration, and discovery. Our classrooms are bright, cozy, and filled with hands-on centers where children can build, create, imagine, and learn at their own pace. Every day is designed to help little learners feel safe, confident, and excited to come to school.

Outside, our playground gives children space to run, climb, and play together. It’s a place where friendships grow, energy is celebrated, and important social and motor skills are developed naturally through play.

Most importantly, our caring teachers nurture each child as they take their first steps in school, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

The first school at St. Teresa's was established by Rev. W.M. Wigger, the inaugural pastor. Initially, the school was converted into a convent, and the current school building was constructed in 1905. Sisters of Charity provided dedicated staffing until 1972, after which lay staff managed the school until its closure in 1982 due to declining enrollment.

On September 10, 2001, the newly renovated building was repurposed as an Early Childhood Center. Extensive renovations were made to meet state licensing requirements and to create an inviting environment for preschool children. Additionally, the facility has been made handicap accessible, ensuring it accommodates all who use the space -both adults and children alike.
